Who We Are
Evidentia & Co. is a professional investigation firm specialising in legal support work, insurance claims validation, corporate investigations and sensitive private client matters. Our name comes from the Latin word for that which is plain to see, and it reflects the purpose of everything we do: to bring clarity where there is doubt.
Our team of investigators and tracing agents has spent years working across litigation support, surveillance, fraud enquiries and tracing. That breadth matters. It means a matter that begins as a simple trace, and turns out to involve hidden assets or a fraudulent claim, does not need to be handed to someone else halfway through.
How We Work
Every instruction begins with a confidential conversation. We take the time to understand what you actually need to know, advise honestly on whether it can be established lawfully, and agree a clear scope before any work begins.
In the field, our specialists use state of the art evidence gathering tools, and structured techniques such as the cognitive interview method, to draw out accurate, detailed accounts from witnesses without leading them. Everything we obtain is documented, time stamped and preserved so its integrity cannot be questioned later.
You receive a clear written report of what was found, how it was found and what it means, prepared to a standard suitable for court if the matter goes that far.

We operate within the law and with full regard to data protection obligations. If an instruction cannot be carried out properly, we say so at the outset and decline it. Evidence obtained the wrong way is worse than no evidence at all.
